Mind Your Conversations

Text: James 3:13-18
Do you know people don’t know how to receive or treat you until they listen to your conversations? Conversations here doesn’t just means what you say but your dispositions. What you say or do or implied as expressed in your actions, inactions and reactions, particularly when there is a situation, tells a lot about who you are and how you should be treated. This is one of the reasons “fake life” is becoming a common thing among those who lack the wisdom of God.
And, when you proclaim to be a child of God or a minister of God, there is a standard or expectation being created in the hearts of people towards you and your conversations, and this will tell how you will be considered.
As a matter of maturity, it is advised you don’t show people every aspect of your life in your conversations if there are areas you are still working on, and if the people around are not a part of your growth system. It will save you a lot.
Memorise: 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
