Who We Are
We are a multi and inter-generational church; exploring, encouraging and embracing all age groups and all stages of your life’s journey.
Once the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is received by men, they gain access into the blueprints of God’s plan for their lives. Here, we come in with the power of Christ for their healings (spirit soul and body) so they can see and advance into the glorious future God ordained for them.
Next, is to guide them by the wisdom of God through discipleship till they are empowered by the Spirit of God to turn life’s challenges into victories. This is the hope we share, and our message through the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Isa 60:1).
OUR MISSION
Our mission statement can be summed up in one word: HOPE.
Healings | to the wounded:
We bring healing to victims of life challenges through the power of Christ in us.
Opening of the eyes | to those without visions:
Through the spirit of God’s wisdom, we open the eyes of the blind to their destiny visions.
Purpose of living | to the confused:
The wisdom of God here brings hope as it gives directions to your reason for living.
Eternal life | to the unsaved:
The greatest of our message of hope is assurance of endless life after death.
OUR VISION
We are commissioned to rescue those who are sick, not just of the body but also of the mind and soul. We want to see the hopeless singing the song of Jesus Christ, as the hope of glory.
These dreams are being fulfilled because they are inspired by God!
Those in the prison of life need more than consolation; they need the hope and the wisdom of God. Hence, we are sent to rescue such with messages of hope, and deep insight in God’s wisdom (Isa 61:1).
BRIEF FROM HISTORY
Ministering over the years, we have come across people with complex situations and have watched God turn those situations around. We have seen HOPE worked both as first aid and life support at such times. This kind of hope can only be divine and it is far more than motivation. It generates a new life and discharges grace through divinely inspired WORDS. The new life of hope becomes capable of seeing and receiving the beautiful future God had ordained for you.
Since satan is very smart in dealing with people who are going through tough times, we are very swift in our follow-up developmental process. Besides other ministry platforms, the online media is our regular avenue to rescue more destinies.
OUR CORE VALUES
We believe hope is life; and life is hope, and it can only come from God through Jesus Christ, our Lord. We believe in the trinity. We believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We handle all personal information and details with confidentiality.
Our only source of inspiration is God, through deep insight from the Bible (the greatest book of wisdom), and divine counsels by the Holy Spirit. We do more of spirit-led and word-based counseling than of psychology.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
About God
We believe in the scripture Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One.” We believe in one Lord, one faith and one baptism. We believe that Jesus is the God of creation who came to earth in the flesh. We believe that Jesus Christ is revealed as Father in creation, son in redemption upon the cross, and the Holy Spirit living in our hearts today.
About Christian Living
According to the Bible, we are to love God and our fellow man. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly and worship God joyfully. We believe in the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, and that they are still in operation in the church today. We believe our ultimate goal should be to minister to others and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
About the Future
We believe that soon God will gather His church which has kept the faith (who have died and those who are still alive) and take them to Heaven to be with The Lord forever.
About Baptism
We believe that baptism is a commandment made by Christ when He said, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.” We believe that baptism should be administered in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins, as was done by the disciples throughout the book of Acts. We believe that baptism is the water birth Jesus discussed with Nicodemas in the third chapter of John
About Salvation
We believe that we must be born again of the water and the Spirit. We believe that the water birth is baptism in water for the remission of our sins, and the Spirit birth is the infilling of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in other tongues. We believe that the Holy Spirit infilling is the promise of the Father that was poured out in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost. We believe that this experience is still happening to people all across the earth who believe in Him and come to Him in repentance as Peter preached in the second chapter of Acts.
About The Bible
The Bible is God’s word to all men. It was written by human writers, but God is the author. We believe the Bible to be the perfect word of God. It is the source of truth for humanity and is the sole authority for what is right and wrong. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
PASTOR TOSIN & TOBI ADEJUMO
Pastor Tosin Adejumo is a charismatic leader with forward thinking vision and passionate resolve. He has pastored parishes in rccg and has been a youth pastor since 2007 with a focus on giving hope to the hopeless through the wisdom and power of God.
